OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY POLICY

“Tread lightly on the land” has been a central tenet of Warrego Energy Limited from its creation and remains a core value for the Company. Belief and commitment to this principle comes from the Managing Director and the Board of Directors.

This policy applies to all Warrego Energy Limited companies.

The HSEQ objectives are:

• realisation of Warrego Energy’s tenet “Tread lightly on the land”
  • zero harm to a person’s health
  • minimise environmental impact
  • preserve cultural heritage
  • respect our neighbours, communities, and stakeholders
• compliance with prevailing legislation
• application of relevant international best practise
• continuous review and improvement

These HSEQ objectives will be achieved by:

• fostering a culture of openness and accessibility across all areas of Warrego Energy’s business;
• committing suitable resources to ensure this policy and the HSEQ objectives are achieved;
• provision of a safe working environment and safe working practices;
• definition, communication and conscientious implementation of a documented HSEQ integrated management system meeting prevailing legislation and relevant elements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016, AS/NZS ISO 14001:2016 and AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018;
• providing suitable and sufficient instruction, information, training and supervision;
• consistent application of hazard management with a defined level of acceptable risk;
• within prevailing legislation, applying International best practise irrespective of the operating region;
• consultation with affected parties to find mutually acceptable solutions; and
• undertaking of proportionate and systematic review, audit, measurement and evaluation to identify and implement improvement.
